Bengaluru: In a brazing incident, a gang of goons attacked a coffee day outlet and butchered a person in full public view on Thursday late evening.

The deceased is identified as Mahesh, a rowdy-sheeter with multiple police stations in east part of Bengaluru.

Another person named Rakshit suffered severe injuries in the attack, who was a close associate of the deceased and is being treated at a nearby hospital.

The incident took place at a Coffee Day outlet at Vijaynagar.

According to police, the murder was well planned and executed by the rival gang of the deceased.

Police suspect that the attack and brutal murder is a vengeance act of gang members of recently murdered rowdy-sheeter Harsha in Chandra Layout.

Police are in lookout to trap the assailants.
