Bengaluru: Chikkamagaluru-Udupi BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje has made a very strong statement against Minister for Infrastructure Development Roshan Baig, accusing him of being directly involved in the murder of RSS activist Rudresh few days ago.

Talking to a private television channel, Karandlaje alleged that Roshan Baig and certain local congress leaders were unhappy with the meteoric rise of Rudresh and plotted his killing by paying supari.

Rumours are abuzz in police circles and among locals in Shivajinagar that the minister was behind the gruesome killing, she said seeking his immediate resignation for a fair probe.

She demanded investigation either by CBI or NIA citing that efforts were being made to hush up the case.
She termed the killing as the master plan of the Congress-ruled state government and demanded that Baig must be thoroughly interrogated.
