Bengaluru: IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri has been transferred out of the Department of labour. Sindhuri who was working as the commissioner Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has been moved without showing any new post.

According to the sources, it is the result of a fight between Sindhuri and a senior officer from the department who wanted to divert the funds meant for the welfare of the construction labourers to the flood relief. Adding to this, she was said to have been pressurised to divert the tender of app development to a government agency.

“She has lodged a complaint against the officer with the IAS officers’ association. But there is no relief for her. She has been shunted out,” explained sources in the state government.
