Recently, a video surfaced online depicting a disturbing incident of road rage in Bengaluru. The footage showcased an unfortunate event where a car fell victim to an attack by individuals on a scooter, adding to the growing concern about the escalating cases of road rage in the city.
The video, which was posted on the Instagram page @safecars_india, showed the startling sight of a car with a front window that was reportedly damaged and cracked as a result of the attack. As the driver tried to get past a man who was in front of their car and another man who had his scooter on the side, a terrified-sounding woman’s voice could be heard in the accompanying audio. The driver kept things tense by reversing and moving forward in an attempt to intimidate the man in front. The only time there was a thumping sound to signal an unintentional collision with another vehicle was when the driver reversed again. The driver took advantage of the situation and was able to flee from the attackers.
The incident’s details were disclosed in the caption that accompanied the video: sharing a personal story on my blog. We were attacked by two local guys near Sloka International (Sarjapur) school because we had indicated our direction of travel with the dipper. They drove their scooter past us, turned around, and returned, putting it in front of us before he knocked it over. Then he began hitting and abusing the car, smashing the bumper, breaking the glass, and causing multiple scratches and forceful damage to the door handles. In some way, my spouse turned the car around and left.

The post went on to emphasize how lucky it was that there had been no physical harm because of the safety measures that were put in place, such as locking doors and keeping dogs in the car. The agitated people underlined the necessity of exercising caution and disclosed that they had filed a formal complaint, but received no answer. “This is my experience and there was no accident either,” they said in closing. Only that we didn’t give them the lead.”
