Bengaluru: The state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former minister Renukacharya has demanded a resignation from Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy following the defeat of the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition in the Lok Sabha election. He has said that HDK should take responsibility for the coalition’s poor performance in the LS polls and resign from the CM’s post.
Renukacharya has reportedly stated that H D Devegowda’s family members are astrologers and are also into black magic. Revanna’s lemon ritual did not do them any good, instead caused Devegowda’s defeat, he ridiculed.
The former minister has also stated that the Congress leaders are not disgruntled, instead they have been deprived of the minister posts. “They are also not getting grants to their constituencies from the government. All this will lead to the downfall of the coalition government”, he said.
