Bengaluru: In the wee hours of Sunday, March 10, the rowdy-sheeters of the city experienced a nightmare in reality, when a team of police led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Ravi D Channannavar knocked at their doors.

Around 150 rowdy-sheeters were taken into custody from 3 am to 6 am and were subjected to questioning.

The police had conducted this interrogation, based on the complaints of increase in rowdism in the western part of the city.

As rowdy-sheeter Lakshman was murdered brutally during the early hours of March 7 by his rivals at Yashwanthpur, the police pulled up the socks. Based on this development, the process of taking rowdy-sheeters into custody was carried out.
