Bengaluru: PSI Roopa, who attempted suicide, is steadily recovering and is totally out of danger and is expected to be out of the hospital on Friday evening, said sources in the hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.

In between, ACP (in-charge) Satyanarayana Kudoor visited the hospital and gathered details about her health.
Speaking to media after the visit, the ACP said that he will look into the matter after the inquiry report comes out.
Alleging harassment by seniors at work, a 33-year-old Roopa Tembad, attached to Vijayanagar police station overdosed herself on paracetamol pills on Tuesday evening. Her action was triggered after an argument with senior at work with regard to a missing mobile phone related to a case registered at the station, which the senior claimed to have seen in her possession.
