Bengaluru: Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former prime minister H D Devegowda and son of PWD minister H D Revanna, met senior Congress leaders, including former CM Siddaramaiah in the city and sought their blessings. He also requested them to visit the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency for the campaign.

The other Congress leaders present were KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao, DCM Dr G Parameshwara, major irrigation minister D K Shivakumar and others. Later, speaking to reporters, Prajwal informed that he grew up seeing leaders like Siddaramaiah. “Their blessings are very crucial,” he said.

“Siddaramaiah assured that he would visit the constituency and hold a campaign,” he added.

He also made it clear that now, there is no difference of opinion between the JDS and Congress activists in Hassan. “All are working together for my victory,” he said.
