Bengaluru: In a bid to bost its legal team for handling cases related to the alleged sexual abuse involving Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, the Government has appointed two additional Special Public Prosecutors. Senior advocates Ashok Naik and Jayana Kothari have been tasked with strengthening the prosecutorial efforts of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in court proceedings.
Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy made startling allegations on Tuesday, claiming that 25,000 pen drives containing videos depicting women subjected to sexual abuse, purportedly involving his nephew Prajwal Revanna, were distributed across Karnataka prior to the Lok Sabha elections. He accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar of orchestrating a conspiracy behind these disturbing revelations.
