Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in the city on Saturday to witness the historic landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the moon.
He will watch the historic moment at the ISRO headquarters in the city. Unprecedented security arrangements are being made across the city in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s visit.
According to the authorities, 70 students, including a girl from Raichur, have been selected to witness this historical moment along with the Prime Minister, who will be accompanied by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
According to sources in the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Yediyurappa is likely to hold a one-on-one meeting with PM Modi to discuss the prevailing flood situation in the state and the delayed assistance from the Central Government.
