Petrol bunk bundh on Dec 24

Bangalore : Petrol bunk owners across the nation have decided to observe a bundh from December 23 midnight to December 24 midnight demanding revision of commission.

R Ravindranath, President of All Karnataka Federation of Petroleum Traders  said petroleum traders in the state would also join the strike as per the call given by the All India association.

There would be a symbolic protest earlier on December 22 and 24 by switching off lights in petrol bunks, he said adding however there would be sale of petrol and diesel on these two days.

He said though the Apoorvachandra Committee had submitted its report on   revision of commission in 2012, the same has not yet been implemented by the government.
