Bengaluru: In recent news, Minister Eshwar Khandre has announced the cancellation of actor Ganesh’s permit to build a temporary structure in the vicinity of Bandipur forest. This decision comes as the land in question falls within the boundaries of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve and has raised objections over the construction plans. Khandre clarified that the initial permit, granted by the Forest Department, was for a compliant temporary structure in the environmentally sensitive Jakkalli zone. However, it has now been revoked due to concerns suggesting intentions of permanent construction.
