Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday stated that his government’s performance was far better than the previous regime in Karnataka.

Rubbishng BJP’s claims, Siddaramaiah claimed that the Congress rule so far had been ‘free’ from scams, transparent and pro-people.
He said that the government had met 120 out of the 165 poll assurances. While Mysuru city had bagged ‘Clean City’ tag twice, his government had sanctioned Rs 4,400 crore for the development of Bengaluru.
Listing various achievements of his government, Siddaramaiah said that his government’s biggest achievements were in the irrigation sector. Having promised to irrigate 9.25 lakh acres in five years, his government had in 3 years succeeded in irrigating almost 4.25 lakh acres.
