One killed, two injured as car rams into wall

Bengaluru: A man was killed and two others injured as a speeding car lost control and rammed into the wall of a railway over bridge at Shivananda Circle late on Sunday night.The police have identified the deceased as Srinivas (28), a resident of Malleswaram near Devaiah Park. The injured are Anand, 27, who hails from Tamil Nadu, and Virupaksha, 28, who is from Mandya. All three were working at a commercial complex on Commercial Street. Both the injured are being treated at a private hospital, with the condition of Virupaksha said to be critical.

According to the police, the trio was travelling in a car to Malleswaram from Commercial Street. Srinivas, who was on the wheel and was speeding, lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into the wall of the railway over bridge. Srinivas was killed on the spot.

The High Grounds traffic police have registered a case.
