Nonagenarian killed for breaking grandson’s mobile!

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a 90-year-old woman was hacked to death by her own grandson for breaking his mobile phone on Monday late night.

The deceased have been identified as Lakshmamma, a resident of Kadirenahalli in Banashankari layout.

The accused Shivraj (22), grandson of deceased is absconding.

According to police, the accused, Shivraj had kept his phone for charging and Lakshmamma accidentally flipped the charger cable with her walking stick, due to which the phone fell and broke.

Furious over this, Shivraj battered her to death and fled the scene.
