Bengaluru: Parents of martyr Guru who died in Pulwama terrorist attack made it clear that there is no rift between them and their daughter in-law Kalavati as reported in a section of media.

Speaking to the reporters, Guru’s father Honnaiah, and mother Chikkolamma informed that the family is struggling to come out of the pain the loss of their son Guru has csused. “But adding to our pain, now rumors are being spread,” they stated.

Guru’s mother Chikkolamma informed that her relation with daughter in-law Kalavati is like mother and daughter. “We don’t know how much money is credited into our account. We are least bothered about it,” she said.

“What is hurting us are the rumors. Those who have a doubt can check with the neighbors. We are all together. Even today we are finding it difficult to eat food due to the grief,” she said.

It can be recalled that a section of media had reported that Kalavathi and Guru’s parents developed a difference of opinion over the money given by the donors and the future of Kalavathi.
