Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has clarified that there are no plans of going for rejig of his council of ministers and even MLC Govindaraju will not be sacked from the post of Parliamentary secretary.
Addressing the reporters, the CM said that there were no such proposals and that it was a mere media construct.
However, it was earlier reported that AICC General Secretary and in-charge of Karnataka Digvijay Singh had convened a co-ordination committee meeting and stated that the diary issue should have been tackled well by the Congress leaders and that Govindaraju must have been sacked from the post of Parliamentary Secretary.
But, the CM refused to affirm the same. Many of the senior leaders had also told the CM and the Home Minister that acting against tainted leaders or the ones who have completed four years in cabinet should not be removed keeping upcoming polls in mind.
