Udupi: District Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh said that there are no cases of Coronavirus in the district.

A sense of fear gripped the region after news of four suspected persons having been admitted to the district hospital in Ajjarkad started making rounds.

Dr Sudheer Chandra Sood, district Health Officer clarified that the medical examination report from Bengaluru has arrived and all the four persons have been tested negative for coronavirus.

Dr Sudheer said that all four people will be discharged on Monday. Moreover, he also added that there are no cases of coronavirus infected patients in KMC Hospital, Manipal till Sunday.
