Bengaluru: The CCB police rescued 66 women from illegal dance bars on Saturday and Sunday night. They also arrested 14 middlemen who facilitated these dance bars. Rs. 1.24 lakhs has been seized from these bars.

According to the police sources, the raids were carried at Kalasipalya, Residency road, Cottonpet areas. A total of 3 illegal dance bars were raided and 66 dancers, mostly brought from North India were rescued.

The police informed that they are investigating the mode through which these women are supplied to the bars.
