Bengaluru: New directors took charge of three major centres of the Indian Space Research Organisation on Monday. They are K Sivan, S Somanath and P Kunhikrishnan.

Sivan was previously the Director of Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre and will now be the Director of Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.

Somanath, who was previously the Associate Director (Projects) at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre and the Project Director of GSLV Mk III, took over from Sivan as Director of the LPSC.

Kunhikrishnan,  Deputy Director of VSSC, took charge as Director of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, the launch pad for all of ISRO’s missions in the country.
