Bengaluru: The victim of the viral assault, Vidvat L, was reportedly discharged on March 4 late night from Mallya Hospital, where he was admitted in a serious condition.

According to the hospital officials, Vidvat’s health condition has seen a marked improvement and is fine and fit to be discharged. Vidvat’s treating physician, Dr. Anand K said that he was discharged on Saturday itself but, remained in the hospital due to billing issues, which were cleared later by his insurance company.

It may be recalled that Vidvat was assaulted by Mohammed Nalapad Haris and his associated in UB City on February 17, after which the victim was battling for his life in Mallya Hospital.
