Bengaluru: Riding high on the recent success of the party in the northeast, the BJP’s central leadership is going to make a beeline for the State again.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Raichur on March 13,” BJP State president B.S. Yeddyurappa told reporters after a core committee meeting here on Sunday.
He said that instead of Belagavi, the State unit has asked the Prime Minister to address a rally in Chikkodi. “The dates of this rally are being finalised and will be announced soon,” he said.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a public rally in Mangaluru at the valedictory function of ‘Jana Suraksha Yatra’ on Tuesday.
BJP national president Amit Shah will participate in the valedictory function of ‘Bengaluru Rakshisi Padayatra’ on March 15, Yeddyurappa said.
Apart from this, the party has decided to hold two backward classes’ rallies in Kudalasangama and Kaginele, which K.S. Eshwarappa will be in charge of.
The dates and chief guests for these rallies are being finalised, the former Chief Minister said, adding that the party would soon release a “charge-sheet” against the State government.
