Bangalore :Mukyamantri Chandru the President of the Kannada Development Authority and the former MLC has resigned from the BJP.
Mukhyamantri Chandru has submitted resignation to the primary membership of BJP. In a letter written to state president Prahlad Joshi and others separately, he has expressed his displeasure about leadership.
“Except personal reasons, there is no other reason for my resignation”, said Chandru, who has acted in a variety of roles in Kannada films and television serials.
Stating that there was a need to raise the voice of the state strongly with regard to its language, border and rich natural resources in the Lok Sabha, Chandru said “I am planning to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections from one of the constituencies in Bangalore.”
