Bengaluru: Welcoming the Supreme Court’s judgement ordering a floor test on the house of the Karnataka Assembly tomorrow, Saturday, BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje said that the party is willing to prove its majority.
“The BJP will form the government tomorrow after proving its majority. Nearly 120 legislators will support us in the trust vote,” said Karandlaje while responding to the verdict.
With emergence of a hung assembly, tumultuous situation erupted in the state. While the Congress and the JDS tried their level best to join hands to thwart the BJP, the Governor invited single largest party-BJP to form the government and BJP state president was sworn in as the CM on Thursday morning amidst protests.
Earlier, even BJP leader Sriramulu had expressed confidence of proving majority in a rather shocking fashion. As of now the JDS and the Congress are leaving no stone unturned to prevent their MLAs from reach of the BJP.
