Bengaluru: It seems all is not well in BJP state unit. Senior leaders of BJP have come out in the open against State president B.S. Yeddyurappa for the second time and set a deadline of March 15 to modify the office-bearers’ list as suggested by party national president Amit Shah.

Thirteen leaders, including two MLCs, State vice-president, two former Ministers and six former legislators, accused Yeddyurappa of not taking measures to abide by Shah’s direction to change the list and accommodate old-timers.

The disgruntled partymen, who are part of the 24 senior functionaries who shot off a letter to Yeddyurappa in January accusing him of taking unilateral decisions on organisational appointments and favouring those who had followed him to the Karnataka Janata Party, said they would decide the future course of action if their deadline was not met. “We will commence a State tour from March 9-10 and elicit the views of party old-timers,” Bhanuprakash, MLC, said.
