Modi to address rally in Bengaluru and Hubballi this month

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address two mega rallies in the state this month. These two rallies are scheduled to be held in Bengaluru and Hubballi, two places considered to be the bastions of the party.

According to party sources, the first rally will be held in Hubballi on February 10. Former CM Jagadish Shettar has been assigned the task of organising the rally.

The second rally will be held at the national college grounds in Bengaluru on February 19. Former DCM R Ashok has been be given the task of organising this rally. “PM Modi is expected to announce Tajaswini Ananth Kumar’s candidature in this rally,” said BJP sources.

“R Ashok, who is considered to be the ‘shishya’ of Anant Kumar, is keen on sending Tajaswini to the Lok Sabha. So he communicated his wish to the party’s national leaders,” the sources added.

Meanwhile, BJP national president Amit Shah will visit the state on February 14 and 21. His travel details are yet to be finalised.

“The BJP state unit is gearing up for the elections. After the visit of the leaders, a final picture of the campaign strategy will emerge,” added party sources.
