Bengaluru: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced the 63 members of the campaign committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The committee comprises of senior Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, former CM Siddaramaiah etc.

AICC general secretary K C Venugopal released the list. The committee will be headed by former minister H K Patil.

The members of the committee include former ministers Pramod Madwaraj and Ramanatha Rai from coastal Karnataka. Controversial MLA from Ballari Anand Singh has also been named as a committee member.

According to party sources, all the senior leaders of the party are included in the committee. Several artists including Malashri and Tennis Krishna are also included.

“The committee will hold its first meeting soon to finalise the party’s strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha election,” added a KPCC leader.
