Bengaluru: Bommanahalli MLA Satish Reddy’s car was set on fire on Thursday August 12 by a group of unknown miscreants.

In the incident, Reddy’s Fortuner car and Mahindra Thar jeep were gutted to ashes. “I heard a loud noise about 1.30 am due to the vehicle’s battery explosion and hurried out only to see my car and jeep burning.  I put out the fire with the help of my watchman and police officers,” said Satish Reddy.

Based on the CCTV footage, at 1.23 am two people came in and within 7 minutes they set the fire and left. Since the footages are not clear, the suspects could not be identified.

The police have registered a case and have formed a special team to identify the suspects.
