Bengaluru: In a big relief to the BJP State Unit leaders, Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai was able to convince both sulking ministers and avoided the possibility of rebel activities.

Tourism Minister Anand Singh and Minor Industries Minister M.T.B. Nagaraj had openly expressed their anguish against the allocation of insignificant departments. However, after an hour-long exercise, CM Bommai was able to convince both the leaders.

M.T.B. Nagaraj now made it clear that he will continue in the Cabinet. Anand Singh also stated that he will not resign. But he is expecting a better department.

Earlier on Wednesday night CM Bommai, revenue minister R. Ashok and MLA Raju Gowda met Anand Singh and held a discussion to pacify him. After the meeting, Raju Gowda, a close aide of Anand Singh informed the media that there is no resentment and Singh will continue in the Cabinet.
