Bengaluru: Ministers TB Jayachandra and H Anjaneya met Governor Vajubhai Vala at Rajbhavan on Tuesday to brief clarification over granting tender for SC/STs ordinance.

The Governor had returned the ordinance bill which allows the State government to allot work-order up to Rs 50 lakh without tender for SC and ST communities.

The Governor returned the ordinance bill and had sought clarification on the issue.

Speaking to media after meeting the Governor, TB Jayachandra said, the ordinance would help in uplifting the downtrodden community.
