Bengaluru: In a remarkable operation, the north division of the city police successfully nabbed notorious gangs and recovered jewelry worth more than Rs 80 lakh on Monday evening.

The arrested criminals includes Mohammad Khaleel Ulla alias Bombay Saleem, who was wanted in more than 30 criminal cases.

Bombay Saleem was wanted in several cases including murder, attempt to murder, extortion and others in Bengaluru, Mumbai and other cities.

The police seized jewelry and other expensive items in the operation worth more than Rs 80 lakhs.
