Bangalore : State Home Minister KJ George has informed that he would instruct senior officials to thoroughly investigate into the case of the suspicious missing of a mines department officer of Odisha, who hails from Bellary.
Addressing media persons here, the Home minister said it has come to the notice of the state government that Ibrahim of Bellary origin who worked as an Assistant Controller in the Indian Bureau of Mining in Odisha, was missing.
He said the officer went missing all of a sudden on November 25 and added the government would try its level best to solve the case. As the incident had taken place in Odisha, the police officials there will have to look into the case, he said.
At the same time, George said the Secretary of the Home Ministry and the police officials have been asked to gather more information on the case.
