Bengaluru: More trouble is brewing for actor Arjun Sarja, who has been accused of sexually harassing his co-star Shruthi Hariharan at the time of the production of the movie “Vismaya”. State women’s commission has registered a suo moto case against Sarja based on the media reports.
Commission chairman Nagalakshmi Bai has directed city police commissioner T Suneel Kumar to furnish a detailed report on the MeToo allegations levelled by Shruthi against Sarja.
Bai informed that the commission has requested Shruthi to appear before them and give a statement. “Based on her statement we will initiate further action,” she stated.
