Bengaluru: With the idea of ensuring that the #MeToo controversy will not create more embarrassment for the film industry, the Karnataka Film Chamber has decided to hold a compromise meeting with both the actors on Thursday, October 25.

As per the plan, the chamber will invite both Arjun Sarja and Shruthi Hariharan to the meeting which will be held at the chamber auditorium.

“The meeting will be held at 4 PM. Cinema artists federation president, former minister H M Ambareesh, producers association president Munirathna, directors association president V Nagendra Prasad, and chamber president Chinnegowda, will present at the meeting. Both Sarja and Shruthi will be invited to the meeting. We want to resolve this matter as it has tarnished the image of the industry,” informed sources.

“Senior artists who are supporting Sarja and junior artists supporting Shruthi also want to attend the event. But, no decision was made to invite the other artists as it may create more problems,” added sources.
