Bengaluru: The journey for CM Siddaramaiah is not going to be easy. The cabinet reshuffle will be done soon, said the CM and on the hand ‘like-minded’ MLAs have decided to congregate to New Delhi to impress upon the high command the need to give them a responsible position in the State cabinet.
It is said that as many as 30 to 35 MLAs will go to Delhi either on April 9 or on 10 and meet AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi and Congress Scion Rahul Gandhi.
The ‘like-minded’ MLAs have been unified by Yashwanthpura MLA S T Somashekar, who in a press meet attacked the CM for making false promises to them.
“After coming to power, the CM had only made false promises that he would expand the cabinet and include us in it. But, it never happened,” he said adding that they would impress upon the high command to make sure that new faces are given chance and old leaders are weeded out.They are also likely to complain against the CM’s style of working and against party in-charge of Karnataka Digvijay Singh.
Some of the like-minded MLAs are Priya Krishna, Narendra Swami, Raghumurthy, Shivaram Hebbar, Munirathna, K N Rajanna, Bhairathi Basavaraju, R V Devaraj, M Krishnappa among others.
