Bengaluru: The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced by-election for the Kundagola assembly constituency on May 19.

This constituency fell vacant after the minister and local MLA CS Shivalli died following a cardiac attack on March 23.

According to the by-election notification, the by-election will be notified on April 22, April 29 is the last date for submission of nomination papers. Polling will be held on May 19, while counting will be held on May 23.
