Bengaluru: KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao has made it clear that the alliance with the JDS is limited only to the Lok Sabha election and it will not be extended to the upcoming Urban Local Body or gram panchayat elections.

Speaking to the reporters in the city, he stated that in the Lok Sabha election, an alliance is formed keeping in mind the interest of the country. “But at the grassroots level, the JDS and the Congress activists are fighting out each other since decades. Keeping in mind the interest of the party, no alliance will be formed in other election,” he said.

Dinesh Gundurao also stated that the difference of opinion between the JDS and the Congress activists has almost been resolved in all the Lok Sabha constituencies and both the parties are facing the election unitedly.
