KSRTC to operate special buses

Bengaluru: To cope with the rush in view of Ambedkar Jayanthi and Good Friday, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has made arrangements to operate 250 additional buses for the benefit of people travelling from April 13 to 15. Later, special buses will be operated from various places to Bengaluru on April 16.

According to a press release, special buses will be exclusively operated from Kempe Gowda bus station in Bengaluru to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupati, Pavagada, Hosadurga and other places.

Special buses from Mysuru Road bus station will serve people heading to Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Madikeri.

Premier special buses will be operated from Shanthinagar BMTC bus stand to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Tiruchirappalli, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
