Bangalore:KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar clarified the mistake in interpreting his statement related to repayment of loans availed by minority from state government at Bagalkot.
He further said that the government representatives were instructed to increase the quantum of loans to minority during the meeting of Minority development Board, because of the demands that the small loans are only available from the Board. At the meeting, it was learned that several crore were remained unpaid. Its unfair just because of someone erred on repayments, the amount of loans cannot be hiked, said Parameshwar.
It’s essential that minority had to be brought to the mainstream of the society. Both union and state governments implemented several programmes for the development of minority. All that he had said was to hike the amount of loans, which has been misrepresented, added Parameshwar.
