Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) initially prohibited Muslim women candidates from wearing mouth, ears, and head coverings for the upcoming recruitment exams on November 18 and 19. However, the authority has clarified that hijab will be permitted inside the examination hall, maintaining the previous allowance.
For the upcoming second phase of recruitment exams scheduled for November 18 and 19, the use of hijab will persist. All candidates participating in the exams are required to arrive at the examination center two hours prior to the scheduled time.
