Bengaluru: K Ratna Prabha, Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce And Industries Department, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary to the government in place of V Umesh. Her appointment comes after government on Tuesday transferred eight IAS officers.

D.V. Prasad, Chairman and Managing Director of Karnataka State Financial Corporation, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industries Department.

M. Lakshminarayana, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education), has been posted as Principal Secretary, Public Works, Ports and Inland Water Transport Department. Jawaid Akhtar, Managing Director of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., has been posted as Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education). He is also placed in concurrent charge of the post of Managing Director, KPTCL.

Kapil Mohan, Principal Secretary, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department, has been transferred and posted as Chairman of the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal.

Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Managing Director, BESCOM has been given additional charge as CEO and Executive Member, Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board.

Richard Vincent D’Souza, Joint Commissioner of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, West Zone has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu district.

B.R. Mamatha, Chief Executive Officer, Tumakuru Zilla Panchayat has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagaram district.
