Bangalore:The state home minister K J George urged the former CM B S Yeddyurappa to seek pardon from CM Siddaramaiah for disrespecting the latter while addressing in public gathering.

Although, the tussle between the former CM Yeddyurappa and CM Siddaramaiah held about a week ago, the minister George seemed to have woken up from deep slumber, in demanding apology from the former CM Yeddyurappa for disrespecting CM Siddaramaiah while addressing a public meeting.

Addressing the media persons, minister George said that Yeddyurappa has insulted the people of Karnataka by addressing CM Siddaramaiah in poor taste. Its common in politics to blame each other, buts it does not bring any respect to those who engage in verbal abuse during the public meeting, said minister George.”What message the society gets if the peoples representatives address CM so poorly, because it will have consequences on the psyche of the people,” said minister George.

It’s the duty of everyone to respect the post of CM, advised minister George.  It’s tragic that Yeddyurappa, who had reigned as CM for nearly three-and-a-half-year in the past, and has been in politics for over 4 decades, has least respect to the post of CM.  It’s the time for Yeddyurappa to have introspected on his deeds, added minister George.
