Bangalore:JDS leaders are trying by all means to the post of state president that fell vacant owing to resignation of the former CM H D Kumaraswamy. Meanwhile, the pressure is mounting on Deve Gowda as a few JDS leaders and MLAs are urging Deve Gowda, to appoint the most faithful among them to the coveted post.
Deve Gowda seems to be contemplating to appoint either one among the former minister Iqbal Ansari, Basavaraj Horatti, Basana Gowda Patil Yatnal and A Krishnappa; amidst opposition from JDS circle.
Deve Gowda hopes to fill JDS state president and legislative assembly chief-whip posts and to continue H D Kumaraswamy as opposition party leader. Meanwhile, one has to wait and see how he would be able to solve the internal chaos within JDS.
