JDS demands 12 LS constituencies in the upcoming general election

Bengaluru: The JDS has demanded 12 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Congress high command has made it clear that it can surrender only eight seats to the JDS.

Speaking to the reporters in Bengaluru, JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda informed that the party has already started preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. “We have a few seats in mind,” he said.

According to the party sources, JDS leaders handed over the list of 12 seats to the Congress state leaders. “The list has been sent to the AICC for negotiations, but the Congress is ready to give only eight seats,” informed a Congress leader.
