Bengaluru: Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar suspended S Murthy, secretary of the assembly for alleged misappropriation of funds at the recently concluded winter session of the state assembly in Belagavi.

A decision in this regard was taken based on a report filed by the chief secretary led committee.

MK Vishalakshi, director of the assembly has been appointed as the in-charge director.
