Bengaluru: The re-examination of second-year PU chemistry paper has been slatted to be held on March 31.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled on March 29, but confusions crept in after the minister and PU Board ended up announcing different dates for the examination.

Primary and secondary education minister Kimmane Rathnakar told reporters that the date has been finalised after holding talks with the MLCs representing teachers’ and graduates’ constituencies and PU Board officials and secretaries.

The students and their parents were shocked and confused when the PU Board said the re-exam will be conducted on March 29 and a few hours later the information department issued a press note on behalf of the PU Board stating that the question of changing the re-exam date was ruled out.

At 6.10 pm, the department sent a fresh press note, shifting the re-exam date from March 29 to March 31.
