Bengaluru: The famed Karnataka police force was left red-faced on Friday when the Special Investigation Team (SIT), investigating the IMA scam, grilled IPS officer Ajay Hilori. As per reports, the officer was grilled for over four hours on Friday evening.

According to sources, SIT chief Ravikanthegowda and DCP S Girish led the inquiry.

“The inquiry lasted for over four hours,” confirmed SIT sources.

Meanwhile, IMA scam main accused Mansoor Khan was rushed to the Jayadeva hospital on Friday evening following complaints of chest pain.

“His health is being monitored closely and experts are treating him. He has no serious complications,” the police added.
