Bangalore:  Sandalwood star and defeated Congress candidate from Mandya –Ramya has said that no one is responsible for her  defeat and that she  has not blamed anyone for her defeat. She also rubbished reports which said that she has complained to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi against State Minister Ambarish and  former CM SM Krishna.

“It is true that I met Rahul Gandhi and held discussions about the party’s defeat in the polls. But I have not complained against any leader. The reports that I have complained against SM Krishna and Ambarish have surprised me,” Ramya said.

She further added-“The reports that the differences between Ramya and Ambarish and the prestige issue of SM Krishna led to my defeat, are all media creation.”

Earlier reports said Ramya had not only complained against Ambarish and SM Krishna but also mentioned the names of Mandya Congress leaders including Lingaraju, MD Ramesh Amaravathi Chandrashekhar and others in the complaint.

Though Ramya has now come forward to deny the reports, party men are not ready to believe her, say sources.
