Bengaluru: A total of 18 police officers of the state have been transferred by the state government, with immediate effect, on Friday, May 20.
They include Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation Managing Director and Additional Director General of Police Kadam Kumar Garg, who has been posted as Principle Secretary Home Department (PCAS) Bengaluru.
Internal Security Division Additional Director General of Police T Suneel Kumar will take charge as Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation Managing Director.
Inspector General of Police (Western Range) Amrit Paul has been transferred to the post of IGP Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, while IGP Central Range, Bengaluru A will take charge as IGP (Western Range).
IGP Administration Bengaluru Seemanth Kumar Singh will take charge as IGP Central Range, Bengaluru.
IGP and Additional Commissioner of Police, Administration, Bengaluru City R Hitendra will be Additional Commissioner, Traffic, Bengaluru City.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Division Bengaluru N Satheesh Kumar will be Superintendent of Police Ramnagar.
Superintendent of Police, SIT, Bengaluru Kaushlendra Kumar will be Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime, Bengaluru City.
Superintendent of Police Ramnagar Dr Chandragupta will be Deputy Commissioner of Police, East Division, Bengaluru.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Division Bengaluru City B S Lokesh Kumar will take charge as Superintendent of Police, SIT, Bengaluru.
Superintendent of Police, Intelligence, Bengaluru P Rajendra Prasad will be the new Superintendent of Police, Kodagu district.
Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta, Bengaluru R Ramesh will be Home Guards Deputy Commandant General and Ex-Officio Deputy Director, Civil Defence, Bengaluru.
