Home Minister stuck in traffic jam for 12 minutes, inspector faces music!

Bengaluru: It may sound surprising, but it’s true.

In a wry eye brow rising incident, a notice has been issued to KR Puram traffic inspector asking clarification for not taking measures to ensure easy movement of Home Minister G Parameshwara’s vehicle on Saturday evening.

All that happened was, the Home Minster’s car was struck in the traffic jam near KR Puram flyover for 12 minutes. That turned Parmeshwara’s eyes red and he expressed his fury over the matter to the higher officials.

Within no time, DCP Abishek Goyal issued notice to the inspector concerned and ordered him for clarify and respond within 15 days.

Parameshwara was returning back from Thirupathi and was struck in an unimaginable traffic jam near KR Puram between 7.50 pm and 8.02 pm.

The inspector in-charge received the information about the Home Minister’s car’ arrival just few seconds before it reached his jurisdiction, which created the mess.

KR Puram junction is considered as the most congested and the heaviest bottle neck point of the city.
